Herndon’s Mayor Merkel recently visited The Closet during National Small Business Week. The mayor recognized The Closet as “an asset to our town and the low-income families it assists” and indicated the town’s pride in having The Closet in the heart of downtown Herndon. This first picture below shows the mayor with the intake staff who greet the people making donations to The Closet and perform the tremendous job of accepting and sorting these donations.
